JUST-IN: Gov. Fayose Threatens To Dump PDP

Barely 24hours after the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which held on Saturday in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, where former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar emerged as the party’s presidential candidate, Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has threatened to dump the party. Governor Fayose hinted to newsmen on Monday that he would renounce his “membership of the PDP anytime from now.”

“After consultations, I will speak clearly to Nigerians,” he added. Naijacc recalls that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had written to the Nigerian Customs to monitor and arrest the outgoing governor anytime he wants to run away from the country following an investigation of about N1.3 billion fraud case filed against him.
